The Tour to Maokong

Last weekend, my friend and I went to hot tourist attraction-Maokong. We took Moakong gondola to get there. It is really popular to take a tour in Maokong because recently, the system of the Maokong gondola, which is first high-altitude gondola in Taipei, made its debut.
It is said that Maokong got its name from one joking explanation that Maokong is called “No Cat” because there are no cats in the area. In fact, its name is derived from the Taiwanese “Niaokong,” which refers to the topography of surrounding mountains. The slopes have been scoured and pitted by the runoff from spring.
Before the construction of the Maokong gondola, the means of getting Maokong is to spend a lot of time taking buses or riding motorcycle. After 2007, The complete of the gondola much shortens the way and time. One- way journey takes about 20 minutes. We took the gondola at Taipei Zoo South Station to Maokong station. The scene is amazingly beautiful along the way.
In Maokong, we took a casual walk in the pathway appreciating the mountain scene. Then, as others usually do in Maokong, we choose a tea shop to drink tea and to have a chat. Besides, the night scene in Maokong is so beautiful and attractive that I have been addicted to it.

My Ideal Career

For everyone, an ideal career symbolizes high salaries, few duties, and good welfare. And I am no exception. But in my opinion, the key factor of an ideal career is to have enthusiasm for what occupations we choose and to have motivation to perfect our life.
Frankly speaking, ideal careers vary at different phases of growing-up history. I had a dream of being a violinist like my favorite violinist-Anne Sophie Mutter who owns amazing performance skills and is always glamorous. But the dream is just a “dream” because I gave up learning to play the violin in senior high school. Instead, a brand-new goal developed gradually in my heart- to be a doctor.
With doubt, doctor is a holy profession because he can cure and heal people who are physically and mentally ill. In my mind, doctor is a career which is very different from other occupations. The supreme mission of being a doctor is not to earn a lot of money but to ease people’s suffering. In addition, a doctor would experience all the sweetness and bitterness in life and would have much deeper thoughts for life.
Now, I am on the way to be a doctor. Although I am not yet well-equipped with all the requirements of being a doctor, I will do my best to gain medical knowledge and to cultivate sympathy for patients in an endeavor to reach my goal.

Free Writng

I love music, especially classical music. It can often soothe my soul. And it can also amuse me. I begin learning to play instrument in elementary school. The passion of music is still a backbone of me which encourage me to look at the bright side of life and comforts me when I am down. I take part in the music club in CGU, and in the club I find my true love again- music. I think a good song can bring me lots of surprise. I enjoy sharing a good song to my friends, and sing together with them. We went to KTV to have a crazy party at night. Those impressive nights are so meaningful to our friendship. Sometimes, we share our feelings to each other by a song. It is a good way to shout out you feeling with a soft or popular song. It really the right decision for me to attend the string club, I have no doubt about it. All of the members in this band are good friends. We can always share things together, whatever happiness or sorrows. Though I and my true love often shine these friends to blind, they always forgive us. Next I would like to share with you about how I and my true love. Music is really an amazing catalyst that can link different people together without boundaries. It is also the medicine to cure our wearing soul. To sum up, music can save your life!
